Be frightened of Donald Trump’s dangerous $500 billion AI initiative “Project Stargate”

by Edward Ulrich, January 23, 2025

Donald Trump looking on as Larry Ellison claims that OpenAI technology will cure cancer.

President Trump has announced his support for a private joint venture called Project Stargate, where he is advocating for hundreds of billions of dollars in private funding to be spent to create an artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the United States, where he has even signed an “emergency order” to speed it along.

Many issues exist with the venture however, where Elon Musk, Geoffrey Hinton (who is known as the “Godfather of AI”), and others are criticizing it as being dangerous.

It is also shown that individuals who are associated with the venture such as Larry Ellison and Bill Gates have a history of advocating for using AI for nefarious purposes, such as for implementing a worldwide digital ID system using facial recognition, and empowering mass censorship of the internet.

Additionally AI is being used to power autonomous armed drones and soldiers such as robot sentry dogs, which are already being implemented in China and in wars such as the Israel / Palestine conflict.

Background information

President Trump announced on Tuesday a joint venture called Project Stargate, where hundreds of billions of dollars in private funding will be spent to create an artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the United States.

Companies such as OpenAI, Oracle, SoftBank, and Microsoft are saying that they plan to spend over $500 billion over the next four years on the venture.

Trump said about the venture, “Together these world leading technology giants are announcing the formation of Stargate, a new American company that will invest $500 billion at least.”

Despite it being a private company, Trump is treating it as if it is coming from the government, and he is “fast-tracking” it by inappropriately issuing an “emergency declaration” about it.

The executive chairman of Oracle Larry Ellison told reporters at the White House that the construction of the data centers for the project are already underway in Texas, where he made the statements in a manner that attempted to create an impression that it is something that is patriotic, for example he said, “AI holds incredible promise for all of us, for every American.”

However, Ellison had also made statements in the past about his intentions for the use of AI which are disturbing, as explained later in this article.

What they are saying about the potential uses of their AI technology?

The executive chairman of Oracle Larry Ellison said, “The kind of applications we are building, to give you an idea, may be the most charismatic and the ones I think touches us all is electronic health records.  Being able to provide health care plans that are much better than they otherwise would be.”  [Note: Computers have been able to do that since the 1980’s.  He thinks that is the “most charismatic” application of the technology?]

Donald Trump said, “I’m gonna help a lot through emergency declarations, because we have an emergency.  We have to get this stuff built.  So they have to produce a lot of electricity.  And we’ll make it possible for them to get this production done easily, at their own plants if they want.”  [Note: What “emergency” is he talking about that is being used to justify fast-tracking this with emergency declarations?]

The CEO of Open AI Sam Altman said, “I believe as this technology progresses, we will see diseases get cured at an unprecedented rate.  We will be amazed at how quickly we’re curing cancer and heart disease and what this will do for the ability to deliver very high quality health care, the costs, but really to cure the diseases at a rapid, rapid rate I think will be among the most important things this technology does.”  [Note: Diseases currently aren’t being cured due to an intentional agenda of ensuring that the populace is sick and unhealthy as a part of the globalist plan.  Also it is likely that a cure for cancer already exists but it is being suppressed, as this article explains.]

About issues with a lawsuit by Elon Musk, and statements by “the father of AI” Geoffrey Hinton

A January 1, 2025 Breitbart article explains that Elon Musk was a co-founder of the company OpenAI, and in late 2024 he sought an injunction to block the company’s move from being a non-profit research organization to a for-profit company.  Musk’s legal team filed the lawsuit accusing the company of violating its non-profit mission by partnering with Microsoft.

OpenAI was launched in 2015 as a non-profit research organization whose stated mission was to ensure that artificial intelligence benefits humanity as a whole, however its shift to being a for-profit company is viewed by Musk and others as being a betrayal, where he is saying that OpenAI’s executives had deceived him into co-founding the company by placating his concerns about the actual intentions of the company.

Geoffrey Hinton, who is known as the “father of AI” for his development of neural networks, has come out in support of Musk’s lawsuit.  In a statement he said the following:

OpenAI was founded as an explicitly safety-focused non-profit and made a variety of safety related promises in its charter.  It received numerous tax and other benefits from its non-profit status.  Allowing it to tear all of that up when it becomes inconvenient sends a very bad message to other actors in the ecosystem.

Hinton also previously criticized OpenAI, where he said during a press conference following winning the Nobel Prize that OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman is “much less concerned with safety than with profits,” where he called the situation “unfortunate.”

Adam Billen, the vice president of an advocacy group for human-centered AI called Encode said the following:

From the start, OpenAI’s mission was to keep its technology under the control of a nonprofit accountable to the public.  Its decision to abandon that mission in favor of profit underscores why public involvement is essential in shaping the future of this transformative technology.

Does the agenda actually have the funding that it claims to have?

An issue exists with the companies potentially claiming to have funding that they might not actually have, where perhaps they have been looking to exploit Trump’s public endorsement as a means of generating revenue.

A January 22 Breitbart article explains that Musk has tweeted that the companies don’t actually have the money that they claim to have, where he said, “SoftBank has well under $10B secured.  I have that on good authority.”

After Musk made the Tweet, the CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman replied by Tweeting “Wrong, as you surely know.  Want to come visit the first site already under way?  This is great for the country.  I realize what is great for the country isn’t always what’s optimal for your companies, but in your new role I hope you’ll mostly put (country) first.”  [Note: Again they are claiming that the agenda is good for the United States, as if supporting it is some sort of a patriotic thing to do.]

The Wall Street Journal reported that the company Oracle which is involved has $11 billion in cash and securities, and SoftBank has about $30 billion cash.

Additionally, the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the following on MSNBC about the matter: “Elon Musk took to Twitter and said, ‘They don’t have the money.  The money doesn’t exist,’ as if this is not really going to happen.  … Look, all I know is, I’m good for my $80 billion.”

[Note that Microsoft’s involvement with the agenda should be very concerning, where Bill Gates still has a significant amount of influence with the company. (link)  Gates is also a big fan of OpenAI, and he is an advisor for the project. (link)  Gates is infamous for espousing anti-human agendas such as promoting vaccines that are known to be useless and deadly, and advocating for agendas such as mass censorship, as explained later in this article.

Despite such issues, Trump is nonetheless fast-tracking the project with his emergency declarations.]

About issues with statements made by the CEO of Oracle Larry Ellison

The following tweet was found on this Infowars article.  The article also mentions that a Gizmodo article described Ellison’s company Oracle as a “CIA Project.” (link)

In this video, Larry Ellison, co-founder of the software company Oracle made Orwellian statements during September’s “Keynote on Oracle’s Vision and Strategy: Oracle CloudWorld 2024,” where he promoted the idea of constant surveillance of every individual, the use of AI predictive policing, and drones being used as guards over the populace.

What are the ultimate dangers of the agenda?

The leaders of the companies involved with the agenda didn’t mention any compelling reasons why it so imperative that “emergency declarations” needs to be made as Trump has done.

However there are a lot of disturbing reasons why the global elite wants to implement such technology, which it is ultimately not in the best interest of anybody except for them.

Among the many nefarious uses of the technology is to create an oppressive world-wide control grid that makes use of facial recognition, empowering mass censorship of the internet, and powering autonomous armed drones and soldiers such as robot sentry dogs (link) that are already being deployed in China.

AI is already being exploited in warfare with horrifying effects, such as with a program called “Lavender,” where Israel’s IDF has been using it to systematically engage in genocide and violate international law with no liability, were they have been giving a rationalization that “they didn’t pick the targets, the software did.” (link[Note also the ridiculous way that they selected the innocent-seeming name “Lavender” for the deadly program.]
